It would be great if we could the nib alloy and nib manufacturer to the Pens catalog. Many of my pens, like Ranga, Asvine, Moonman, etc., can have options for manufacturer and alloy of the nib and it would be great if we could identify that with its own listing instead of just in the comments.
I use the “nib” field for that. It’s not perfect, but at some point in the future I actually want to make the nib it own “thing”. I don’t know about you, but I switch nibs around a lot and it seems like a better idea to do that instead of adding more fields to the pen. I do have a lot of entries like “B (Kaweco)” as the nib in my various pens.
But for now you’ll have to make to with the existing entries. And as I suggest to other people: You can of course just use one of the existing columns for something else. No need to stick with the existing names.
