It would be awesome if the drop downs you have in many different areas of the site could be alphabetized. When you have a lot of pens, for example, to choose from, scrolling all over up and down and back up again to find the pen you’re looking for is a challenge. There should be a way to sort the results of the drop-down list prior to populating it on the page. OpenAI or Grok should be able to help you with the right solution. I’m guessing it would be awesome to have all lists alphabetized for ease of use. I hope it isn’t too difficult to come up with a fix.
The dropdowns are mainly meant to be used with the search so that’s why that never came up. And once you start searching they are ordered by relevance. But I can see the point that they should at least start out sorted alphabetically.
Can you let me know which dropdowns you’re referring to, though? The ones for adding or editing a currently inked entry definitely make sense and maybe the ones for adding a usage log entry as well. That’s the only ones I could think of, though. Do any others come to mind?
Yes those are the three most used (although the one on the usage page is new to me). The currently inked Add New pen dropdown and the ink dropdowns would benefit greatly from an alpha sort. I am sure there are people with many more pens and inks than I have.
