I was inking up a pen today and clicked into “Usage Records” for the 1st time and saw that I had 1 entry. It’s accurate but there’s an identical entry in the Archive. How do entries end up here? How is it different than Archive?
Yeah, that might be bit confusing. The “archive” is the term I am using for everything on the site for things you don’t want to delete, but that aren’t in active use anymore. For example, if you’ve sold a pen, but you want to keep it in your archive to know that you once owned it.
For the currently inked section an entry moves to the archive when the pen is empty and you’re not going to use it anymore. Also, when you use the reinking button (the arrow that goes in a circle) that just moves the existing entry to the archive and creates a new one with the same details.
Usage records are created whenever you click the bookmark button (the left most button). That let’s your record that you’ve used the pen/ink combo on that day.
Hopefully, that helps a bit to understand the system.
